March Madness - Spring Fever

March hasn't quite made the decision as to where it is coming in like a lion or a lamb, but here at Off the Vine we are roaring up our plans for Spring.

Special for the month is a "Good Ol' Bologna" Sandwich.  Beef bologna, cheddar cheese topped with yellow mustard, mayo with lettuce and tomato.  Served cold on sourdough bread and comes with chips and a drink for $7.99.

On March 9th, don't forget to "Spring Forward" when Daylight Savings Time returns.

Painting Parties with Edi have been filling up and everyone is having a great time letting their artistic side flow.  Lovely paintings were created at the "Lady in Red" one done for Valentine's Day and there was a lot of crowing at "The Funky Chicken" class.  For the next painting we will be ushering in St. Patrick's Day a wee bit early.  Sign up now for "Irish Eyes" to be done on Saturday, March 15th at 7:00 pm

Event details can be found our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/events/744840305533865/
Or drop by Off the Vine and check out the painting for yourself.
There will be all day drink specials and green beer to get one's Irish spirit flowing.

A preview of the next painting scheduled for Tuesday, March 25th, "Bring Spring."

Enough with the dreary weather. Let's create some Spring energy. This cheerful gardening boot filled with beautiful fresh cut red flowers is on a 16X20 canvas, lots of fun to paint. The splash technique we use in the end is always a huge hit with the crowd.
Housekeeping notes:
- There are 3 ways to pay: (1) through the event page at EventBrite that accepts all major credit cards.  http://tinyurl.com/Bring-Spring
 (2) through PayPal, which can be found through the Facebook event page and (3) in person at Off the Vine
- Payment is required in advance (by 6 PM on 3/22, the Saturday before the event) because I need to know many canvases and materials I need to bring with me
- We have class minimum size of 6 and a maximum size of 16; if I have to cancel the class because of lack of attendance, I'll email you and issue refunds on Friday night (note: PayPal and EventBrite may take a couple days to deliver your refund, but I'll issue them on Friday...it just takes them time to turn around the request).
And you can now check out upcoming events Edi will be doing at her website:   http://www.paintwithedi.com  Private painting parties are also available.

A new cocktail menu is almost finalized and will be featuring many of North Carolina's new distilleries, our toast to Liberty's spirited history.

Marking Spring's arrival on March 20th, we will be celebrating on Saturday, March 29th with a "Welcome Back Spring" and Spring Patio "opening."  Good friend and favorite "crooner", Keith Bartell will be entertaining beginning around 7:00 pm.  Song, food and spirits, what better way to welcome the season?  (Rumour has it, there will likely be cake too!)
